Question 1

How much does Yocoolab cost?

Accepted Answer

Yocoolab is free in beta for your whole team. That covers the extension, the dashboard, Send to Agent and everyone you invite, with no limits on projects, links, people or teams. There is no credit card, no trial clock and no seat fee. Pricing after beta has not been set, and we will give clear notice well before anything changes.

Question 2

Do you charge for viewer seats?

Accepted Answer

No. Yocoolab has no seat types at all in beta: developers, stakeholders and clients can all view, comment and reply for free. (For comparison, Figma’s View seat is also free as of October 2026, and Figma charges for Full, Dev and Collab seats, according to figma.com/pricing (https://www.figma.com/pricing/), checked October 10, 2026. More detail is in our Figma view seat pricing post (https://yocoolab.com/blog/figma-viewer-seat-pricing-alternative).)

Question 3

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

There is no trial clock and no credit card to start. In beta the whole app is free. We have not set pricing for after beta, and we will give clear notice well before anything changes.

Question 4

What happens when beta ends?

Accepted Answer

We have not decided yet, and we would rather say that than promise something we might have to walk back. When we do set pricing we will announce it well in advance, and nothing will change for you without notice.

Question 5

How do I install Yocoolab on my site?

Accepted Answer

You do not install anything on your site. Yocoolab is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox: add it from your browser’s store, sign in, and start pinning comments on any page, including localhost. To let your AI coding agent read and act on those comments, add the MCP server with one command: npx -y @yocoolab/mcp-server@2 setup.

Question 6

Does it work with any tech stack?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because Yocoolab runs in the browser on the rendered page, the framework does not matter: React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, plain HTML, WordPress or Shopify. There is nothing to embed and no build step. For React, Vue and Svelte pages it also records framework hints with each comment.

Question 7

Can I use Yocoolab on localhost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open your local app with the extension installed and pin feedback on it like any other page. No deployment is needed. Comments are saved to your Yocoolab workspace, so your team sees them too.

Question 8

How do I sign in, and how long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Install the extension, then sign in with Google, GitHub, or email and password. Okta single sign-on is available on request. Connecting a coding agent is one command, npx -y @yocoolab/mcp-server@2 setup, which detects Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Roo Code and Windsurf and writes the config for each.

Question 9

What integrations does Yocoolab support?

Accepted Answer

Pendo works today: a workspace admin adds it in Settings, then Integrations, and it shows page usage on a thread and records thread events in your Pendo account. Yocoolab also has Jira, Linear, Slack and Telegram integrations. New workspaces can’t map a project to Jira, Linear, Slack or Telegram yet. These integrations are set up per connected repository, and connecting repositories is currently unavailable. Workspaces that already have a connected repository can still use them. GitHub is a sign-in option, not a thread integration.

Question 10

How does Send to Agent work with Claude Code and other agents?

Accepted Answer

Every pinned comment captures a screenshot, the element’s CSS selector, DOM path, attributes and computed styles, framework hints, and the page URL and viewport. Click Send to Agent and the thread is queued for your connected agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Roo Code, Windsurf or another MCP agent). The agent reads that context through the Yocoolab MCP server, finds the matching source in your repository, makes the change, opens a pull request and moves the thread to In Review. A person reviews it and resolves the thread.

Question 11

Can I send threads to Jira or post them to Slack?

Accepted Answer

New workspaces can’t map a project to Jira, Linear, Slack or Telegram yet. These integrations are set up per connected repository, and connecting repositories is currently unavailable. Workspaces that already have a connected repository can still use them. The Jira (https://yocoolab.com/docs/jira), Linear (https://yocoolab.com/docs/linear), Slack (https://yocoolab.com/docs/slack) and Telegram (https://yocoolab.com/docs/telegram) docs say exactly what each one sends.

Question 12

How is my data protected?

Accepted Answer

Traffic to Yocoolab uses HTTPS, and passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes. You can sign in with Google, GitHub, email and password, or Okta single sign-on by request. Workspace roles and project access control who sees what; see the Permissions & Access docs (https://yocoolab.com/docs/permissions).

Question 13

Do you support SSO?

Accepted Answer

Single sign-on with Okta (OIDC) is available on request. Ask from Settings, then Organization, under Security and compliance in the dashboard, and we set it up with you. Other identity providers are not supported yet.

Question 14

Do you have a SOC 2 report?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not have a SOC 2 report. If you need details about how Yocoolab handles your data for a security review, email contact@yocoolab.com and we will answer your questions directly.

Question 15

Does Yocoolab work on mobile?

Accepted Answer

The extension runs on desktop Chrome, Edge and Firefox; there is no mobile extension. On a phone you can open the dashboard in your browser to read and reply to threads.

Question 16

What browsers are supported?

Accepted Answer

The extension ships for Chrome, Edge and Firefox on desktop. There is no Safari version. The dashboard runs in any modern browser.

Question 17

How do I get help?

Accepted Answer

Email contact@yocoolab.com and we will get back to you. The docs (https://yocoolab.com/docs) cover setup, AI agents, permissions and integrations.

Question 18

Can I export my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your own data: in the dashboard, go to Settings, then Privacy & Data, to download your profile, the threads you created, your messages and related records as JSON. For a full workspace export, email contact@yocoolab.com.
