Pendo analytics on Yocoolab feedback threads
See how much a page is used when you open a thread about it, and record Yocoolab thread events in your Pendo account.
Overview
The integration works in both directions. When you open a thread in the extension, Yocoolab shows Pendo data for that page: page views and unique visitors over the last 30 days, feature events, and your account’s active Pendo guides.
Yocoolab also sends track events to your Pendo account when a thread is created (with the first 200 characters of the comment, the element’s selector and the page URL), when it is resolved or reopened, and when a message is added.
Prerequisites
- A Pendo account with API access
- Permission to create integration keys in Pendo settings
Setup Steps
- 1
Get your Pendo integration key
In Pendo, go to Settings → Integrations → Integration Keys.
Create a new integration key and copy it.
- 2
Enter the key in Yocoolab
In the admin dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Pendo. Paste the integration key and click Save.
- 3
Test the connection
Click Test Connection. Yocoolab validates the key by running a test aggregation query against the Pendo API.
Tip
Pendo doesn’t need a repository mapping. Once connected, analytics are looked up by the page URL of the thread you open.

Troubleshooting
Warning
No data for page — Pendo analytics are matched by URL. If the page URL doesn't exist in Pendo's data (e.g., it's a new page or uses a different URL scheme), no analytics will be shown.
Note
Data freshness — Pendo data is queried when a thread is opened and cached for 5 minutes. Analytics cover the last 30 days.
